Description

Potential evapotranspiration represents the maximum quantity of water that could evaporate from the soil and be transpired by vegetation under ideal conditions, without limitation of available water. Data are available from 2000 to 2026, with an initial spatial resolution of 11,132 meters. These data have been aggregated by Commune and Fokontany to calculate monthly totals, expressed in meters. An additional aggregation was also performed at the level of the 500-meter buffer zones around the IHOPE survey villages, providing village-level monthly estimates for each site.
