Description

Subsurface runoff represents the flow of water moving laterally through the surface layers of the soil. Data are available monthly from 2000 to 2026, with a spatial resolution of 11,132 meters. These data have been aggregated by Fokontany and by Communes to quantify the volume of water expressed in height-equivalents (meters), as if water were uniformly distributed over the administrative surface. An additional aggregation was also performed at the level of the 500-meter buffer zones around the IHOPE survey villages, providing village-level monthly estimates for each site.
