These datasets contain Normalized Vegetation Index (NDVI) values from MODIS images aggregated at commune / Fokontany level to analyze vegetation cover. Data are available from 2000 to the present day, with a spatial resolution of 250m and a temporal resolution of 16 days, updated at a frequency of 16 days.
Columns :
- comm_fkt : name of fokontany using standardized ‘new_commune’_’fokontany’ nomenclature
- modis_ndvi : ndvi values calculated from modis images
- date : date in format: YYYY-MM, corresponding to year and month
